The
parents of the Thai youth soccer team trapped in a cave must be at wit’s end
Fearful
that their sons will remain trapped until in October the monsoon rains end
Or
worse the rains overcome the pumps drying to pump the water out
And
the divers as a last resort will have with scuba bring non-swimmers out
The
world has become fixated on the boys’ plight
As
rescue divers from around the world are gearing up to win this rescue fight
A
silver lining in this cloud of painful parental and players distress
Is
the gathering of foreign rescue divers to work together to obtain a safe egress
Amazing
when nations like China and the U.S. can set aside differences to unite in a
rescue goal
A
reminder we are all human beings, our brothers’ keepers to prevent tragedy from
taking its toll
If
only the efforts spent in a united goal to save these boys
Could
be on human conflicts like trade be employed
