politics is dead
From the
left over the top rhetoric full speed ahead
Along with a
rapid move to the left on issues like ICE and illegal immigration
Ignoring the
economic gains by Trump’s agenda instead calling for his damnation
Main street away
from the coastal chardonnay and brie
Moves to the
center and from a no borders stand flees
The Blue
Wave is appearing to recede before it reaches the voting booth shore
As economic
prosperity under Trump more and more voters chose to ignore
Now the
Blues are preparing to jump off the cliff
With their
obstruction against Trump’s yet unnamed SCOTUS pick
The party of
no and rabid total obstruction
Is facing
this fall its hopes of flipping destruction
Lost in their
dreams of regaining power
As they
become bitter and sour
Are the
words of Clinton’s successful run
It’s the
economy stupid which is why Blues the voters will shun
