For thirty days we have endured the
June gloom temps in the air
Catalina Eddy with its marine layer
cloudy skies to despair
Temperature dropping in an evening
chill
Have the sweater handy if you are
planning a late afternoon grill
July has dawned upon us and triple
digit heat is on its way
Catalina Eddy cooling clouds and fog
no longer to display
Beaches on the 4th will
be packed and awash in high surf
Pity those in So Cal who call the
Inland Empire their home turf
Thank God for oceans that act as a
heat sink
Avoid the triple digits that make it
difficult to even think
