Ridley’s Believe
It Or Not For July 2, 2018 Obama’s legacy has just received another blow that enhances his
image as liar and deceiver in chief to the American people as a high ranking
cleric in Iran announced that Obama granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians
during negotiations of the Iran nuclear deal and despite assurances to the
contrary gave access to the U.S. financial system to Iran (so desperate to
build his legacy he would do anything to get a deal with Iran that Trump has
pulled out of); Brian Ross of the Always Biased Cack Network who was demoted
for falsely reporting that Flynn had met with the Russians in a report that
tanked the stock market announced that he was leaving ABC; ex Border Patrol
chief Vitiello has taken over running ICE which is under assault by the left as
a deportation force and strongly defended by the Trump Administration; “comedian”
Michelle Wolf has stooped to new vulgar lows in attacking Ivanka Trump as “vaginal mesh”
and “herpes” while the other Bobsey twin of hate Samantha Bee has apologized for
her C-word attack on Ivanka; LeBron James is coming to Los Angeles to play for
the Lakers; Tesla has finally hit its production goals of 5,000 Model 3 cars
per week; the FBI has regained some trust of the American people by its arrest
fo Demetrius Pitts, an African American Muslim, for plotting to blow up a 4th
of July Parade in Cleveland, Ohio; in Chicago through July 1, 2018, 1399 people
mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 219 have died
(when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true
racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of
people of color by people of color?).
As always,
I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Nelly
Furtado feat. Timbaland, factoids of interest for this day in history, the
fact you are not suffering from melagia; a relevant quote from Lord Downing on
the existence of UFO’s, secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any
memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries,
you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized
poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. You
need only contact me for details.
1. World UFO Day—celebrating the need
for people to gaze into the skies to locate UFO’s and celebrated on this day as
it marks the anniversary of a supposed UFO crash near Roswell, New Mexico in
1947.
2. Made in the US Day—promoting the purchase of products that are made in the US as
opposed to buying products imported from other countries.
3. 2006 Number One
Song— the
number one song in 2006 on a run of 6 weeks in that position was “Promiscuous”
by Nelly Furtado feat Timbaland. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J3vgcE5i2o
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of
the day is “melagia” which means a pain in the limbs.
5. Sing Well Marry Badly—celebrating the
birthday on this day in 1969 of noted Mexican American singer Jenni Rivera who
went through three marriages two of which involved husbands the first of whom was a molester
to her children and the second of whom was a drug dealer; she died in a private
plane crash on December 12, 2012.
On
this day in:
a. 1937 Amelia Earhart and navigator
Fred Noonan were last heard from as they were trying to complete an equatorial
circumnavigation of the world.
b. 1962 the first Wal-Mart store was
opened in Rogers, Arkansas.
c. 1964 President Lyndon Johnson
signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 designed to prevent discrimination in
public places and accommodations.
d. 2001 the AbioCor artificial heart
was first implanted; the company making the artificial heart discontinued
production after 12 hearts were implanted with an average extension of life of five
months.
e. 2002 Steve Fossett became the
first person to circumnavigate solo in a balloon.
Reflections
on the existence of UFO’s: “More than 10,000 sightings have been reported, the
majority of which cannot be accounted for by any ‘scientific’ explanation,
eg that they are hallucinations, the effects of light refraction, meteors,
wheels falling from aeroplanes, and the like…. They have been tracked on
radar screens… and the observed speeds have been as great as 9,000 mph. I
am convinced that these objects do exist and they are not manufactured by
any nation on earth. I can therefore see no alternative to accepting the theory
that they come from an extraterrestrial source.”Air Chief Marshall Lord
Dowding, Commanding Officer of the RAF during WWII.
