Carson: To Speak or Not to Speak?

Carson represents a Washington outsider refreshing clear choice
A well reasoned African American conservative voice
But Carson now faces a Hobson’s choice in which he cannot win
Blunting a Red weapon the Clintons’ quid pro quo paid speeches spin
If he continues as a candidate to honor his speaking contract
Four more speeches and he becomes the pot calling the Hillary kettle black
If he breaches the contract and from the podium walks away
Angry sponsors and damages even after mitigation may come into play
Hindsight is the IQ booster beyond compare
Some drafting suggestions in the future to share
A run for president should be like a force majeure
Announce a run for presidency becomes a basis to the contract demur
He should bite the bullet and the contract renounce
Against Hillary he must have the issue of conflicts of interest to denounce
If Carson does not walk from the contract, he has given up the high ground
Watch his being slammed by the Clintons’ what is good for the goose is good for the gander rounds
Even though in Clintonland, hypocrisy reigns,
Watch Hillary’s supporters condemn Carson for not his speaking refrain
Watch Bill under the mantra of I have to pay my bills
Stay on the speaking trail to add to his and his foundation’s till.
