Searching for a Studio In San Francisco.

What a great joy to be a poet and be sitting in a Starbucks creating away only to meet three graduated seniors  heading up in the fall to San Francisco State and looking on the internet for a place to stay. Three beautiful young women obviously with smarts and dreams; another example of why at the end of the day when the chips are counted this nation with its dreams will be supreme. No one should head off to college without an apartment in which to stay, which is why the following poem came into play.
What a breath of coffee scented fresh air
Some dreams of seniors off to college to a studio share
The American Dream even without a dorm room to crash
Will not prevent the hopes of desired careers to hinder or mash
A nurse, a talon, and the better choice
Ears still listening to the to be  selected career voice
What makes this vignette one watching children to select
Is that three young women more likely than not will on their dreams failure an option to elect
Bookended between the shadows of Cal and the Farm
Learn well, but save time for the City’s allure and charm
