I used to
think there was a jayvee team
But that
would be just a dream
Our security
and foreign policy group would not make the cut
Without even the slightest doubt, no if ands
or buts
Rice would
be on the freshman team riding the pines
Most of us
cringe whenever she intones or opines
Beaming that
the strategy is working and Turkey has opened up an airbase
Walking back
when Turkey stated in no uncertain terms that's not the case
The video queen
of deception is the National Security Adviser
In reality
she is the National Insecurity Reviser
When will
this supposedly brilliant woman stop spreading the misconception
That the brass
supports the “strategy” when they have been opposed from inception?

standing like a deer in headlights in front of the press
Fumbling,
speechless, hard not to have feelings of pity to not suppress
Another base
taken, Iraqis without leaders saving their skins
Airstrikes
puny at best will not prevent the ISIS win
We are
looking at a Caliphate, the perfect sanctuary to plot and implement attacks
No more
hiding in the mountain caves that will their planning distract
