Supremes To Rule On Union Agency Fees

If you are a teacher in California at the schoolhouse door your First Amendment rights you must check
Forced to pay dues that may go to policies and politicians your might want to reject
Public employee unions like the teachers are great Blue campaign PACs
Millions going only to Blue coffers to then Red candidates attack
Unions when for higher wages and working conditions is their focus and goal
Definitely in the workplace have a welcome role
But when the electoral process with forced contributions subvert
With too much pressure on elected officials with money to exert
We quickly have an unfunded pension liability disaster
The unions not the voters become a ruthless master
The Supreme Court is hearing a case brought by two teachers questioning the legality of agency fees
Anticipating the decision is not a sure thing but the questions seem the Supremes with the plaintiffs agree
Unions should be in the marketplace to compete for members who could either join or refuse
Forcing a nonmember to pay fees to support policies they oppose is the exercise of First Amendment to abuse
