In politics
it seems that the taller the candidate is the harder he or she falls
That moment
when reality and lack of donors trumps ego and campaign in a mortal stall
Of all the
Blue candidates to replace Trump di Blasio had to be the biggest joke
The closest
likeness to an image of a hopeless Don Quixote quest to evoke
A man whose
ego was so big he merited on his failed race little pity
A man who
was a disaster as a mayor of New York City
A lesson to
us all that ego is a reason defying powerful force
No matter
the number of polls they could not alter his course
A tall man
with no ideas or ideas to meet with voter disdain
Such an ego
to believe that voters could from supporting him not abstain
He wins the
prize of the most pronounced popinjay
To have the
temerity to pronounce it was not his time today
No pity for
him only for the residents of the Big Apple who will now suffer his absence
from the campaign trail
Now back in
Mayor’s Mansion with policies especially in dealing with police and crime
doomed to fail
Goodbye and
good riddance to a politician whose only attribute was his height
And hope
unlike another failure Hillary Clinton he quickly fades away out of the
political limelight
