November 19, 2016 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Women's Entrepreneurship Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For November 19, 2016 In the fleeting days of his administration, Obama must be in delusional fits as he issues executive orders banning drilling in the Arctic and huge swaths of the Atlantic which Trump will be quick to repeal; further evidence of a complete lack of any sort of honeymoon facing Trump and Pence when he takes office on January 20 when Pence is booed and lectured while attending the musical Hamilton; Blue ruled and failed sanctuary cities like San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Providence are facing a world of potential fiscal hurt for their defiance of ICE detainer requests as the Trump administration will seek to cut federal funding to those cities (only in America which is supposed to be a nation of laws can cities believe they are above the law); if you thought the theater of the absurd would be taking a curtain call, think again as “noted” fashion designer who has designed for Michelle Obama, Sophie Theallet is refusing to design for the most attractive First Lady we probably have ever had because of her husband’s “sexist, racist and xenophobic” stands (what a crock to disguise the fact that this woman is seething because the pant suit line she was looking to unveil after Hillary’s coronation will never see the light of day); chilling news out of Europe that ISIS has planted 80 terrorist operatives there plotting to maim and kill; in yet another example of the idiocy on university campuses students at City, University of London have passed resolutions banning several of England’s top newspapers, indicating freedom of speech is not to be protected; on the sports front Stanford travels to Cal for the Big Game and SC and UCLA meet at the Rose Bowl.
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Santana, factoids of interest for this day in history, a relevant quote from Melinda Gates, while looking forward to enjoying a caffeinated beverage like Coke, blessed with a positive attitude and secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. e. 1998 the House began impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton (he became only the second president to be impeached but was saved from conviction by a partisan vote of fellow Democrats.
Reflections on payback by entrepreneurs who are successful: “If you are successful, it is because somehere, sometime, someone gave you a life or an idea that started you in the right direction. Remember also that you are indebted to life until you can help some less fortunate person, just as you were helped.” Melinda Gates, cofounder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  Please enjoy the poems on events of interest on my twitter account below (if you like them, retweet and follow me) and follow my blogs.
