Starbucks on Bristol near Jamboree
Is where one should want to be
A steady stream of coffee holics a
fix to need
A prompt staff to always pay heed
Meet the most interesting people in line
Today an attractive Holly with a
laugh not confined
Air conditioned jeans
A total beauty scene
Never been to Alaska but a fellow
sister lives in Palin’s stomping ground
Advice given to Starlight up then ferry
through the Narrows into Frederick Sound
On a cruise you are expected, almost
required to tip
Regardless of whether the service is
grand or merely lip
On a ferry a tip to a state employee
is a bribe
Settle back enjoy the scenery, enjoy
the ride
Fishing boats up and down in the
Narrows in a steady stream
Base of the food pyramid to fuel the
caloric dreams
Made my day to a few moments in a
Starbucks converse
Could not help myself but had to remember
the encounter in verse
