Minimum Wage Is First Job Not A Permanent Living Wage

Here is a reality on wages that the left blindly chooses to ignore
Increase the minimum wage and some workers  will spend less time on the retail floor
Amazon acquired Whole Foods in 2017
To expand its presence on the brick and mortar scene
Amazon’s minimum wage is $15 and Whole Foods was less
Having to raise to $15, Whole Foods workers were met with a new stress
Made more per hour but found themselves with fewer hours to work
In the low margin food retail wage increases cause eroding profit margins to go berserk
A minimum wage was most likely to not let employers employees totally exploit
But rather to encourage employment at a lower wage to enable an employee to achieve skills adroit
It should not be viewed as a living wage but an inducement to on the economic wage rung advance
Thanks to basic skills like showing up, customer service, reliability, appearance, full effort, striving to skills enhanced
Being paid a lower minimum wage with a future capped
Should make most us to seek work where our skills are untapped.
