Hold On To Your Wallets, Newsom's Reparations Committee's Reparations May Cost Over $800 Billion for a State That Never Had Slavery

 

The Newsom appointed Reparations Committee has generated some 500 pages
That will be used to justify and compute the amounts of reparations to blacks the  effect of slavery and discrimination that has raged
The first inkling that reparations have nothing to do with the reparations’ amount
A clear indication this is a wealth transfer based on race which is what this is all about
Reparations cannot be justified based on slavery because California was not a slave state
If there is to be reparations for de jure discrimination the races really hit were Japanese and Chinese
Banned from voting, miscegenation, public schools, owning property or living where they pleased
Fewer Jim Crow laws affecting blacks were on the books but reasonably soon repealed
Ban school segregation 1929; ban racial discrimination 1931; ban miscegenation laws 1948;
Ban discrimination in public accommodations 1954; ban segregation of the National Guard 1955; made it in 1955 a misdemeanor to refuse service except on reasonable grounds even if somewhat late
Since the tenet of the left, BLM and CRT is that racism is systematic throughout this nation
We will be subject to a never ending presumed racist condemnation
Will the reparations warriors reduce the payments if one ancestor is white and the other black?
Or if the claimants or one or more ancestors immigrated to this nation from one in which slavery lacked?
Now that some blacks are demanding reparations for slavery and discrimination be paid
Do the Japanese, Chinese and Native Americans start the reparations budget raid?
Don’t forget the Catholics or the Irish indentured servants escaping the Potato famine
Who suffered “Irish and dogs not welcome” living in slums so can we for reparations their plight examine
Millions of blacks have escaped the self-locked victimhood cell
To make the idea of even nominal amounts of payments an impossible sell
If in an attempt to accept and then purge with a reparations cross
It should be on the federal level not on a state by state number of victims loss
