Biden Needs to Drop the My Way or the Highway and Negotiate a Deal with McCarthy on Spending and Debt Increase

 

Why is it so hard for our leaders to the lessons of history learn?
How can they ignore the story of Nero fiddling while Rome burned?
How can they on issues that need to be resolved
Assume myopic vision unable to see the problems to not be involved?
We have known for months at our rate of spending
Our ability to borrow more debt would soon be ending
Instead of trying to work with the House Biden retreated
To his no compromise bunker to ignore the nation’s entreats
Like the open border crisis that evokes massive lies
The border is secure as thousands of illegals that myth denies
A “clean debt ceiling increase”
Will mean the expansion of debt will not slow down or cease
Another Swamp example of kick the can down the road
While we burden following generation with more choking debt loads
The House bill passed without a single Blue vote in favor
Starts us on a process of reducing the growth of debt for our children and grandchildren a needed lifesaver
The G-7 meeting is of course important to raise the Chinese threat
But it does not trump the disaster if we do not start to reduce our debt
Biden needs to leave early on Air Force One
Be locked in a room with McCarthy until a deal on spending and debt is done
No more time for photo opts or cones of ice cream
Curb spending hand in hand with debt increase to save the American Dream
