Myth of the Friendly Skies

For United Airlines the news keeps getting worse
More fallout from the lack of customer service curse
Sacrificed on the cross of always put more in the profit purse
From the CEO’s pathetic apology to allegations of broken nose, a PR minefield to traverse
In a time of economic concern most Americans would trade time for more dollars
Up the unseating ante, no need to drag one passenger along the aisle by his collar
His lawyer crying the use of unnecessary force
Bloody nose, broken nose, broken tooth
Big dollars from  the litigation jury booth
With shrinking seats and more and more passengers obese, shrinking service, crammed in like rats
If anyone on a jury in an airline case is a flyer, the airline will be slammed without mercy to the mat
Treat passengers without respect and only a myth of the "friendly skies"
More and more passengers will look elsewhere when they are forced to fly
While those who have the time can enjoy a leisurely, scenic trip on a train
Uncramped, serviced by crew members who do not treat them with disdain.
