The
nanny state is alive and well
Time
in Chesapeake, Virginia to ring the alarm bell
It
is illegal for trick or treaters over the age of 12 to trick or treat on
Halloween night
Wonder
who came up with this idea that does not seem remotely right
Was
it an attempt to vandalism curb?
Or
another goal that is more absurd?
Like
cities waging a war on sugared sodas to obesity deny
The
city fathers may have wanted its teens to avoid sugar highs
Trick
or treat bags are never filled with fruits
No,
candy rules the night and is the majority loot
Chesapeake
needs to curb its nanny state urge
Nothing
to be gained by banning a one night candy splurge
