An assisted living
facility or nursing home was usually the last stop before a final at the grave
A hope that
a soon to die senior would enjoy some peace and joy even though knowing the
doctors could not easily his further life save
Some
activities, some hobbies, some arts and crafts
Time for
some family or friends to visit and share in memories and laughs
Now the COVID-19
as a Grim Reaper roams across the land
Attacking
nursing homes with patients ill equipped to its calling withstand
In New York
thousands of deaths in nursing homes
Now under
quarantine lying in bed and dying alone
No family,
no friends, no spouse at the bedside to
hold the senior’s dying hand
The final
moments before the last labored breath before leaving the living land
Cuomo so
great at reciting cases, ventilators, quarantines and treatment or recovery
hopes
Clueless
over his death sentences sending CV cases to nursing homes unable to the spread
then cope
The most at
risk segment of the population by a governor’s inane order to death throes
quickly go
Yet despite
all the warnings about elderly with a straight face he claimed to not know.
He condemned
the elderly to a sooner chance of death
His CNN
brother violating his quarantine exposed others to the CV’s deadly breath
