October 11,2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not National Coming Out Dayt

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For October 11, 2019 The Blues favoring open borders and no wall may have been hit with their Willie Horton moment as the police have arrested an illegal alien who stole a car from the owner of Zora, the disabled dog who is able to walk with a customized disabled dog device, has been arrested in another stolen car and charged with stealing autos and causing the death of animal after abandoning the car and leaving the dog inside to die( Reds should put this scumbag’s face on campaign posters to remind voters what they get when they support illegal aliens):

Former Ambassador to Ukraine is testifying before a House Committee on possible quid pro quo behavior by Trump and do not be surprised if Blues leak whatever testimony they deem helpful to their impeachment witch-hunt to the MSM; Gavin Newsome’s war against the 2nd Amendment and private prison and immigration detention aided by his Blue lap dogs in the state legislature is in high gear as he signed into law a raft of laws which will go into effect on January 1, 2020; while California public universities at the undergraduate level continue to offer degrees in areas that are useless in aiding students to pay off their college debt, at least they will have the comfort of knowing that Newsom has signed legislation requiring public universities to provide birth control medication at student health centers; Newsome took a break from signing laws to decimate the 2nd Amendment to tout that the Republican Party is finished (may be right with its screwball two winners take all to advance to general primary election laws; amidst news that confirms that bias in the news reporting by MSNBC and CNN in terms of losing in the rating wars to Fox for 71 straight quarters, Shephard Smith announced his retirement from Fox News; Trump announced a Phase 1 Trade Deal with China and the market soared although the details have yet to be detailed (if you listen carefully to the offices of the Blues, you can hear the sobs as they need to have Trump fail and the economy tank to bolster their chances to win in 2020); Pelosi must be seeing the handwriting on the wall that her Banana Republic like Kangaroo Court Impeachment will be doomed in the Senate as she ranted about Trump’s astute and right on point criticism of Joe Biden while ignoring her numerous over the top rhetorical attacks on him and complaining that the children are listening to Trump (this woman daily shows signs of Botox contamination of the brain affecting her judgment); Ronan Farrow’s book on Matt Lauer’s sexual escapades and the attempt to cover up will be out soon and it will paint a very reptilian brain portrait of Lauer and complicity by NBC as one of Lauer’s victims Brooke Nevil has gone public over his alleged anal rape of her (so refreshing when the supporters of women CNN and MSNBC circle their wagons when one of their own is accused a peep not a word about the anal rape allegations of this perceived pervert); Andy Lack, the chairman of NBC News who killed Farrow’s expose about Weinstein and already taking heat for an old boy culture when it comes to sexual harassment is facing an allegation from one of his victims on sexual harassment (his actions now become clear when perverts like Lauer could claim “this is what the boss was doing”); the silver lining over Lauer’s sexual harassment and rape charges seems to be that NBC staffers may be tiring of the moniker of “Nothing But Cack” and finding some spine to mock Noah Oppenheim, the president of NBC News trying to defend the network’s handling of the scandal and the rape charge; Tulsi Gabbard, the only real non leftist candidate who might have a chance to save the Blues from fleeing from the center and jumping over the cliffs to the rocks of socialist like doom below has made the cut for next week’s Blue primary debate but is threatening to boycott over the DNC’s alleged rigging of the primary process; Rita Lowrey, a Blue 16 term Congresswoman is going to retire after the 2020 spawning speculation that Chelsea Clinton may run to replace her after her retirement (we need another Clinton in office like we need a hole in the head); troubling news that should alarm all Americans as recently declassified findings by the FISA Court show Christopher Wray continued to illegally spy on Americans (Comey and his anti-Trump henchmen have not been held accountable and should merit prosecution and prison time on conviction); the MSM anti-Trump lap dogs and Pelosi wanting to conduct impeachment inquiry behind closed doors with Red input blocked (no wonder latest Fox poll shows 51% of population want Trump removed); in Chicago through October 10, 2019, 2185 have been shot, of whom, 375 have died as the 2 day hiatus on deaths ended; in Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population, 267 have been murdered in Baltimore (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which have been more deadly and more numerous than random mass shootings?
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, factoids of interest for this day in history, a musical link to Tommy Edwards,  the fact that you combat predacious whenever you witness it and a relevant quote on the coming out by Anthony-Venn Brown, secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like Father’s Day, college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. 1. National Coming Out Daycreated in 1988 by  Robert Eichberg and Jean O'Leary. Eichberg, who died in 1995 of complications from AIDS, was a psychologist from New Mexico and the founder of the personal growth workshop "The Experience". O'Leary was an openly lesbian political leader and long-time activist from New York, and was at the time the head of the National Gay Rights Advocates in Los Angeles. Both believed the best way to combat LGBT discrimination was to come out of the closet.
2. International Day of the Girl Child—created by the United Nations in 2012 to create awareness of the discrimination and issues faced by girls due to their gender in such areas as education, employment and forced marriage.
3. 1958  Number One Song— the number one song in 1958 on this day on a run of 6 weeks in the position was “It’s All in the Game” by Tommy Edwards. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akbfXUA08OY The song is probably the only one written by a future Vice President of the United States Charles Dawes in 1991. Edwards battled alcoholism and the Game ended for him on October 23, 1969 at the age of 47 from complications from cirrhosis.
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day is “predacious” which means predatory which defines politicians to a tee when it comes to their considering taxes.
5. No Warning--celebrating the birth on this day in 1966 of noted TV actor Luke Perry who starred in Beverly Hills 20010 and who suffered a massive stroke without warning and died on March 4, 2019.
On this day in:
      a. 1937 following his abdication of the English Throne to marry Wallis Simpson, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor embarked on an 11 day tour of Nazi Germany, meeting with Adolf Hitler.
      b. 1954 in accord with the 1954 Geneva Convention, French troops completed their evacuation of Vietnam.
      c. 1987 the AIDS Memorial Quilt was displayed for the first time on the Second National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights.
 d. 1991 Anita Hill testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her allegations on the alleged sexual harassment of SCOTUS Nominee Clarence Thomas.
 e. 2001 Polaroid Corporation, a victim of the digital camera, filed for Chapter XI Bankruptcy Protecton.
Reflections on coming out: “There are those from religious backgrounds who resist and oppose LGBT equality; some very obsessively and publicly. They make bold accusations and negative statements about gay and lesbian people, their supposed "lifestyle" and relationships. But when a son, daughter, brother, sister or close friend comes out it is no longer an "issue" it becomes a person. They realise everything they'd said was painfully targeted at someone they love. Then......everything changes.”― Anthony Venn-Brown, A Life of Unlearning-one man’s journey to find the truth
