It
is hard to feel sorry for Beto O’Rourke as his primary chances fade away
Probably
not prefulgent enough to link his church pronouncement on the eve of today
Having
trashed the 2nd Amendment to scare the owners of guns to their law
abiding core
He
is ready to try to on the !st Amendment a knockout blow to score
On
the Eve of Freethought Day to atheist and secular thought provoke
Beto
was calling for tax exempt status for churches to be revoked
If
that church on same sex marriages does oppose
With
such a plank clear his campaign in its death throes
God
help us if we would ever allow the state to dictate our religious beliefs
Cannot
imagine or even describe from the Swamp the amount of grief
Thousands
of our earliest immigrants from state mandated religions fled
To
these virgin shores to worship their God in their own way instead
But
for O’Rourke now instead of render on to God what is God’s
It
is worship only what Caesar has permitted and not outlawed
Thank
God many of us do not put O’Rourke in a separate camp
But
in with Blues now linked to him as he religious freedom wants to tramp
Bringing
Americans out in droves and in righteous rage
To
drive this loser off the Blue debate stage
If
by the unlikeliest chance in the radical mosques of the Middle East he is heard
A
wakeup call to end Muslims’ killing gays and lesbians which we view as cruel
and absurd
