For a Month the UN Security Council Will Have to Endure Russia as President with Putin the War Criminal as Its Head

 

The UN Security Council has 15 member nations 5 of which have the power to veto any bill
If an act of the UN is believed to be objectionable China, France, Russia, UK or the US can it kill
The President of the Security Council serves a one month term that rotates
But this month it is Russia with its war criminal Putin as its head of state
A propaganda win for Putin with his nation setting the agenda for 30 days
While in Ukraine Russian missiles and shells will continue to Ukrainian civilians slay
With its veto, the world is helpless in forcing Russia to its invasion stop
So similar to almost a hundred years ago Ethiopia pleading with the League of Nations as the bombs continue to drop
With Biden’s continued war to our domestic oil and natural gas production to reduce
Russian was handed a full deck of energy cards and sanctions against Russia will get loose
China and India have thumbed their nose and Japan needing oil has agreed to pay more than the $60 per barrel cap
Putin is rubbing his hands with glee as the higher oil prices go, the more weapons he can buy or produce and his war not be scrapped
One month is not an eternity and in May the president will be a Swiss
Neutral but some leaning to join NATO but affairs will not be amiss
