April 25, 2023 Ridley's Believe It Or Not

Our oldest president Joe Biden at 80 has announced with Kamala Harris the 2 will be running for reelection (watch for an increasing clamor before the Democratic convention to nominate their candidate that he undergo a cognitive function test). The Woke Warriors have claimed another victim
this time for in another record shattering movie Mario Bros Super Movie, there isa character
named
“Blackie” for his dark black hair whose name has been changed to “Spike” so blacks are not offended. Seems like only yesterday in silents “Boston Blackie” a reformed jewel thief who became a detective  was on the screen from 1918-1927 in silent movies before  the character was resurrected in the “talkies” from 1941 -1949, (Nintendo must have become more thinner skinned and politically correct to change the name).  In addition to the unvetted felons and drug dealers coming across our open border, Reds outraged over the human trafficking that is occurring on our porous border may be vindicated by a whistleblower who will claim that our government is acting as the “middleman” as the number of unaccompanied minors has risen from 33,239 in fiscal 2020 to over 146,000 in fiscal 2021 with 70,000 so far in fiscal 2023. Corks will be popping in CPD precinct stations and sighs of relief in black neighborhoods that have turned into shooting galleries day and night,  Chicago’s State Attorney who was elected thanks to the donations of George Soros has stated she is not running for reelection. In the New York Marathon in November Glenique Frank ran as Glen but in the London Marathon this transgender ran as woman to finish in 6160th place out of 20123 women who participated to finish ahead of 13,963 women. Every time our unprepared Press Secretary lies on her podium are doing or not doing she apes the likes of Baghdad Bob or Joseph Goebbels. Aaron Rodgers is leaving the Packers for the Jets who have signed him to a 3 year $150 million contract.

Noted Holidays: Parent Alienation Awareness Day:  Created by Sarvy Emo to promote awareness of the damage done to children when in divorces the custodial parent goes to any lengths to discredit the worth and contribution to the children’s welfare of the noncustodial parent. There are no winners in this battle except lawyers creating huge billable hours and only losers—the children urged to take sides in the divorce and the noncustodial parent who must try to move heaven and earth to be able to spend time with his or her children.
Word of the Day:  The word of the day is “anacrisis” which means a interrogation coupled with torture to obtain information needed from a suspect or prisoner which describes the practice of waterboarding to a tee.
Number 1 Song: The number 1 song on this day in 2005 was “Candy Shop” by 50 Cent feat. Olivia on a run of 9 weeks. The song shared with 7 other songs that achieved  number 1 status  while 5 acts including Olivia, achieved number 1 status  for the first time. Here is a music video with lyrics of 50 Cent feat. Olivia performing “Candy Shop”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRcnnId15BA
April 25 Famous Birthdays: Leonard Goodman, born on this day in 1944 at Farnborough, Opington, United Kingdom was a professional dancer and instructor and dance contest judge who passed away this year 3 days prior to his birthday.
          Noted Events on April 25:
          1.    1961—Robert Noyce aka The Mayor of Silicon Valley and the co-founder of Fairchild Semiconductors and Intel Corporation received a patent for the monolithic  integrated circuit using silicon which launched the personal computer age and gave Silicon Valley its name.
          2.    2001—President George W. Bush pledged military support to Taiwan in the event of an attack by China which many today is likely especially if President Biden is reelected and we continue to be focused on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
          3.    2004—An estimated 500,000-800,000 protestors in the March for Women’s Lives marched in Washington, D.C. to protest the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 and other restrictions on abortion which the prochoice movement objected to.
          4.    2007—In a welcome reminder that communism had not eliminated religion in Russia, the state funeral of Boris Yeltsin was sanctioned by the Russian Orthodox Church, the first for a Russian leader since the funeral of Czar Alexander III in 1894.
          5.    2014—The nightmare known as the Flint Water Crisis began as the city of Flint, Michigan switched its water supply to the Flint River which resulted in the residents being exposed to high concentrations of toxic contaminants and bacteria.
Famous Quotes on Events and Issues:
Gordon Moore, creator of Moore’s Law that the number of circuits in an integrated circuit will double every 18 months and the cost be halved: “The future of integrated electronics,” he wrote, “is the future of electronics itself. The advantages of integration will bring about a proliferation of electronics, pushing this science into many new areas. Integrated circuits will lead to such wonders as home computers—or at least terminals connected to a central computer—automatic controls for automobiles, and personal portable communications equipment. The electronic wristwatch needs only a display to be feasible today. But the biggest potential lies in the production of large systems.
