On the Ukraine War front, the European Union has opened the door to admit Ukraine as a member which something Zelensky has wanted to ameliorate not be able to join NATO to join the protection of Article 5 but a positive economic and political step to further isolate Russia from Europe.
On the Hamas Israel war front, Biden and his military advisors whose woke infected seem trying to interject their military views on how to wage war to defeat Hamas seem to be showing a waning support for Israel. If the waning support of the Biden Administration prevails, Hamas will be emboldened beyond belief and with them in place of the Palestinian Authority in Gaza, the rockets en masse thanks to Iran will begin again to fly in earnest.
On the weather front, major storms are predicted to hit and drench the Eastern Seaboard with flooding and wind damage and huge hurdles for air travelers to overcome.
On the NFL expansion front, the NFL has announced that it will play a game in São Paulo, Brazil which will have the benefit of less jet lag and maybe none depending on who plays only the sardinitis of the huge linemen for the distance covered as opposed to time zones.
On the commuter front, heading on the train out of Newark to their destination commuters were delayed by a bull on the tracks until animal control officers could arrive and capture the animal and take him to an animal control sanctuary where he is safe with his new name of Ricardo.

              2.      On this day in 1989 the Second Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, aiming at the death penalty’s end/To reflect the shift among many nations of the view that life is a sacred trend/Went into effect on July 11, 1991 and as of July, 2023 90 nations have signed/A large number of nations like Iran, China, North Korea, Russia, and the U.S. have declined/Although in many states in the U.S. with inmates on death row growing and multiple decades before the penalty is enforced/It looks more and more like a defacto end rules the capital punishment course.
             3.      On this day in 1981 a new method of terror attacks had begun/Soon after the world would be by similar attacks attack stunned/In Beirut, a car loaded with 100 kilograms of explosives was driven into the Iraqi Embassy parking lot/Then detonated by the driver to find the Paradise he sought/100 were wounded and 61 including the Iraqi Ambassador were killed/A more effective more destructive modern way to add to the Butcher’s Bill/Aped soon after in the Marine Corps Barrack’s Bombing to 221 Marines and 20 sailors and soldiers kill/Which ended Reagan’s to have Marines keep the peace in Beirut will.
             4.      On this day in 1978 President Carter in a move we would come to regret/Severed relations with Taiwan that was still under the martial law of the KMT headed by Chiang Kai Shek/And recognized China ruled by the CCP/In the forlorn hope China would end its IP theft and unfair trade practices while seeking Asian hegemony/Now recognized by all except the leftist of the left to be our existential threat/With the chances of invading the democratic nation of Taiwan a likely safe bet/The world still is in recovery mode/Of the concealment and obfuscation the CCP on COVID-19 chose to on the world unload.
             5.      On this day in 1960 several days after he aborted detonating his car filled with dynamite as President-Elect JFK and his family came into his sight/Wanted to kill JFK but his wife and 2 small children his mental illness told him not right/Arrested for plotting to assassinate the soon to be president/But 10 days after Oswald pulled the trigger he was ruled insane as his ability to distinguish right from wrong had long since been spent/Ordered confined to a psychiatric hospital until on December 12, 1966 let go/Had he succeeded most unlikely no Vietnam War and TV would U.S. astronauts on the Moon not show.
Quote by Byron Stevenson, founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative that has secured the reversal for 140 wrongly convicted inmates on death row: “The reality is that capital punishment in America is a lottery. It is a punishment that is shaped by the constraints of poverty, race, geography and local politics.
