Ridley’s Believe It Or
Not For November 19, 2019 Day three of the Lying Schiff Impeachment Hearings
with the real reason for the impeachment recently express by very early impeachment
zealot Al Green, “We have to impeach him to prevent him from being reelected
(in Schiff’s and Pelosi’s world voters do not count and cannot be trusted only
the elite Blues who know what’s best for us); fireworks today as Vindaman
testified that Trump call was inappropriate in terms of national security
(inappropriate not treason or a high crime or misdemeanor) but also claimed the
deletion of Burisma in the transcript was insignificant as Blues have
maintained (Vindaman came close to identifying the whistleblower whom many Reds
believe is a biased never Trumper but was prevented by Schiff); Trump never to
sit idly by when attacked lambasted Pelosi for sitting on the job creating replacement
to the job killing NAFTA, tge USMCA; maybe it is the nature of those accused of
quid pro quo that both sides often deny its existence but in this circus of
prejudgment by Blues, denials by both Trump and the Ukraine President are
ignored by the Blues; in a move that might be construed as biting the hand that
feeds you, several Blue candidates for president are demanding NBC clean up its
toxic sexist environment before the next debate, ignoring the fact that if the
MSM, including NBC had a shred of journalistic integrity, most of the wanna-bes
would have dropped out due to being exposed for their lack of ability and ideas);
shifting from the political circus to the athletic circus, Colin Kaepernick’s
workout on Saturday was termed a circus and he finds himself no closer to
signing on with a NFL team; hearings in the afternoon on impeachment have
started with Ambassador Volker testifying that no one asked him to bribe or
extort anyone and that he did not know that requests to investigate Burisma
were tantamount to investigating Biden; HRC once again shows that she is
suffering for 2016 election delusion as she thinks she must be in the Oval
Office as opposed to Trump as she calls for Stephen Miller’s removal as a White
House Adviser to President Trump; in Chicago with a new interim police chief as
of November 17, 2019, 2473 have been shot, of whom, 419 have died;
Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population, is coming in second place in
the amount of gun deaths as 306 have
been murdered (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage
or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a
blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will
the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities
which have been more deadly and more numerous than random mass shootings?
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and
observances, factoids of interest for this day in history, a musical link
to Tiffany, the fact you are not subject to protanopia and a relevant quote
on women’s entrepreneurship by Lori Griner, secure
in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events
like Father’s Day, college graduations, birthdays, weddings,
or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a
unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the
recipient. You need only contact me for details.
1. Women’s Entrepreneurship Day—created
in 2014 to promote recognition of female entrepreneurs and create awareness of
the skills and resources needed to be a successful entrepreneur.
2. International Mens Day—conceived in 1992 by
Thomas Oaster to celebrate boys’ and mens’ achievements and contributions, in
particular for their contributions to community, family, marriage, and child
care and in the era of “toxic masculinity” men are often hit with a refreshing
and positive counterbalance.
3. 1987 Number 1 Number One Song— the
number one song in 1987 on this day on a run of 2 weeks in the position was “I
Think We’re Alone Now” by Tiffany. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6Q3mHyzn78
Tiffany took a hiatus of 4 years from singing from 1995-1999 but at 48 is still
performing.
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day is “protanopia”
which means color-blindness insensitivity to red which is a defect Republicans
hope most voters do not possess after enduring the circus of impeachment
proceedings.
5. Pinned Too Early--celebrating the birthday
on this day in 1960 of Miss Elizabeth, noted female professional wrestler and
managed who was pinned permanently from a bout of pain killers and vodka on May
1, 2003.
On this day in:
a. 1959
in a time to correct a big mistake moment, the Ford Motor Company announced the
discontinuance of the Edsel.
b. 1985 Pennzoil won a $10.53 billion verdict against
Texaco for inducing the Getty Oil Company to breach its agreement to sell to
Pennzoil; the verdict was the largest civil verdict in U.S. history.
c. 1998
the House began impeachment proceedings of President Clinton in proceedings far
different from the circus Schiff and Pelolsi are overseeing.
d. 2004 in what became known
as the Malice at the Palace in the closing seconds of a game between the
Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers with the Pistons with a double digit
lead Ron Artest fouled the Piston center during a lay up which prompted a push
back and then all hell broke loose with fans and players fighting each other
and when the dust had cleared and the game ended by the mini riot, Artest for
going into the stands and attacking fans was suspended for 86 games (rest of
season) and Stephen Jackson for 30.
e. 2006 Nintendo’s video game
play console with motion control, the Wii, was released to the gaming public.
Reflections from a
successful female entrepreneur on women’s entrepreneurship: ““Dear optimist,
pessimist, and realist – while you guys were busy arguing about the glass of
wine, I drank it! Sincerely, the opportunist!” Lori Griner, one of the successful sharks.
