The news on
the Ebola front is not going to allay the alarm
That this
disease is spreading, sowing its fatal harm
The brave
doctor who went back to Africa to Ebola victims treat
Despite the
best care in the U.S., his doctors had to admit defeat
Now a new
cluster in Mali has just reared its deadly head
Like Dallas Presbyterian
a blown diagnosis and three maybe five are now Ebola dead
It’s catch up
time in Mali to discover who the contacts of the victims were to isolate
Mali must
move quickly or many more will share the first few victims’ fate
On the home
front at least without debate the U.S. acted with all due speed
Mali joins
the list of West Africa countries if visited a 21 day quarantine an arrival
must heed.
Mali is
engaged in jihadist unrest and 21 wounded UN Peacekeepers were at the clinic
where the first death occurred
Now in
quarantine and a reminder for us to ask what steps for our soon to arrive
troops will be taken to their safety insure?
