Columbia Banning Deporting Flights from the U.S. Quickly Was Dropped After Trump Threatened to Impose 25% then 50% Tariffs on Imports From Columbia

Trump’s swift action to start deporting illegal aliens starting with criminals who have broken our laws
Has provoked its first response from a nation receiving  2 flights of deported illegals that would the U.S. deporting Eagle declaw
Columbia would not allow the planes to land as its socialist president does not want the thugs back
Trump responded immediately with a 25% tariff on Columbia’s exports increasing to 50% in a week to Columbia’s actions attack
Columbia in 2023 exported $49.5 billion of which to the U.S. $17 billion went U.S. or 34%
50%  tariff on U.S.. exports would impose a big dent
Forcing Columbia on not taking back illegals to relent
Too much of an economic hit and Columbia’s president quickly reversed course and will no long deporting flights from the U.S. prevent
Other nations like Venezuela who have been sending us criminals and gang members seeing Trump’s response would most likely not attempt to block deporting flights
Too costly to their economy to be hit by massive tariffs and lose access to U.S. markets due a costly tariff red light
Trump’s plan to induce investment here in plants with lure of low taxes and high tariffs if products not made here has generated some intense flak
But the example of Columbia’s reversing course on banning deportees from U.S. suggests the “Art of the Deal” President is right on track
