Another school shooting to shock the nation
Resulting in prayers for the dead and wounded but for the dead
shooter condemnation
in Madison, Wisconsin at the now misnamed Abundant Life
Christian School
3 dead including the juvenile shooter and 6 wounded facts--not
yet released to reveal extent of wounds or the gun used as the killing tool
It is known that none of the responding police fired their
guns
So the shooter shot himself after coming to grips with what
he had done
Any school shooting involving a young shooter is a total
disaster
But at a Christian School where the 10 Commandments students
as taught to master
Total shock that the school failed to successfully teach the
6th one “Thou shall not kill”
Few details released in this tragedy like missed signs of
trouble or ease in obtaining a gun that resulted in the adding to the butchers’
bill
Or whether there was an armed resource office on the site
that could have intervened
Or if there was any delay in police arriving after 911 calls
before the shooter turned the school into a murder scene
Hearts go out to the families of the dead and wounded victims
and to the dead shooter’s family
All of them who must be in a world of massive hurt and pain due to this calamity
As the safety of the victims in an instant was flushed down
the drain
To be followed by strident cries that more gun controls must
reign
While most of us wonder how being in a Christian School would
the shooter adhering to its core values chose to deign
Shaking our heads wondering if the shooter was bullied or due to mental illness not treated somewhat insane
