EPA To Spend $1 Million For Hotel Rooms For 24 Day "Environmental Justice" Conference--Plus Cost Of EPA Pooping In Halls

When it comes to spending like a drunken sailor on a spree
That image fits the federal government to a T
In the private sector conferences are less than a week with more work than play
The EPA announced it will need to book 195 rooms for a mind boggling vacationing 24 days
To hold an Environmental Justice gathering in the fall
It will be at a pricey hotel so we hope the Denver EPA have learned not to poop in the hall
A million bucks on rooms the EPA will spend
For useless speeches droning on without end
Justice coming from the EPA is a butchering of the English word
With its actions against land owners and coal that are draconian and absurd
Justice in EPA speak has nothing to do with compensation for the taking of one’s land
Due to regulations on development that have gotten completely out of hand
No this has to do with making sure regardless of race or income one’s views are aired
Nothing about how regulations weigh the costs and compensate those who the burdens bear
A million dollars and God only knows how many trees turned into paper
How many words droning on into the ether of hot air vapors
The only benefit will be that the foul habits of the Denver EPA will be allayed
And if in a conference the EPA efforts to issue more job killing regs will be delayed

Vets Are Dying But Money Still There To Pay For Solar Instead Of More Doctors

If you believe in climate change due to emissions from fossil fuels
Going solar is a very emission reducing tool
No wonder the mantra and edict to always be energy green
Is the Holy Grail of the Obama team
But in the haste to go solar there is another color our feds too quickly forget
Another color from those whom we owe a great debt
The color is not political but it is very red
The same color as the blood our veterans sacrificed and shed
While the VA is losing vets because of delay
Not enough funds for in Phoenix extra doctors to pay
A solar power parking lot roof in Phoenix they found time and funds to construct
While waiting times to see doctors continue to run amok
While vets are dying due to delay
A simple reorder of priorities to obey
Not one more solar project penny, not a nickel not a dime
Until the VA cleans house and shortens its deadly patient waiting time.

Ridley's Believe It Or Not-June 28 History National Ceviche Day

Ridley's Believe It Or Not—June 28, 2014:  Good luck to Team U.S.A. against Belgium on July 1 in the World Cup.  Wear your best shades today and enjoy these holidays, factoids, and quote from the Daphne Fielding with a smile on your face and a thick tortilla chip in your hand to scoop up some ceviche.
            1. INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY—created by Derek Arnold in Iowa on this day in 2000  as a parody protesting people who in an attempt to promote the importance of themselves in emails use ALL CAPS.
            2. My Way Or The Elway Day—celebrating the birthday of one of Stanford’s great quarterbacks along with Plunkett and Luck, two time Super Bowl winner, John Elway—one of the strongest arms of any quarterback to play the game but doomed to play in his last collegiate game against Cal which after Elway drove Stanford to a last seconds apparent comeback win produced a loss in The Play.
           3. Paul Bunyan Day—honoring that mythical creator of American logging—whenever you see rain in the forests it is most likely being caused by his tears due to the bureaucrats and the Endangered Species Act which has decimated logging in large parts of this country.
           4. National Tapioca Day—celebrating that great gluten free pudding extracted from cassava (native Brazil- site of the World Cup).
           5. National Ceviche Day—celebrating a great dish, fresh fish marinated in lime or lemon with added spices and finely chopped vegetables like onions and tomatoes—a cooling dish like gazpacho without the liquid—Enjoy!
On this day in:
            a. 1969 the Stonewall Riots began in New York City, a event which heralded the beginning of the Gay Rights Movement in this country.
            b. 1987 in the first time in military history a civilian population was targeted for chemical attack when Iraqi warplanes under the command of Saddam  Hussein bombed the Iranian town of Sardasht—the skilled gained was later put to use in his own county.
            c. 1997 in a precursor to a World Cup moment of biting, Mike Tyson was disqualified for biting off a portion of Evander Holyfield’s ear in the third round of their heavyweight championship fight.
A rational view from a horse’s perspective: “It doesn't matter what you do in the bedroom as long as you don't do it in the street and frighten the horses.” Daphne Fielding, noted 20th Century British author Since we have few carriages in the streets an addendum would be “or cause a driver to swerve off the road.” But the thought is right.

The Phony Scandals Are Real The Real Scandal Is Failure Of The Media The Real Phony Is Obamaheof

The biggest scandal involving this Administration is not Benghazi or the cover-up at the IRS
It's not the waiting times and deaths at the VA or the Fast and Furious mess
It's not the Administration caught blind once again by ISIS, Boko Haram or Putin as their moves we failed to assess
It's even not the fact that under this Administration and his red lines we seem to the rest of the world to no longer impress
It's even not our border is flooded by children and by the cartel with drugs we cannot seem to suppress
It's even not Obama's pen and his refusal to enforce the law or his illegal appointments when Congress is not in recess
It's even not the total failure of the ACA roll out spending millions on millions for a failed website with federal largesse
It’s even not the rise in our national debt and our squandering our children's and grandchildren's future we have failed to address
All of the above are gnat bites compared to the potential scandal to our Republic which unabated continues to progress
That scandal which is growing and continues is the complete and utter abdication of responsibility by the mainstream press
The Fourth Estate, the Founders' defenders of freedom of the Republic, into a lap dog for Obama has regressed
Obama is no more transparent than a thick coat of welder's glass or the magician's curtain concealing the trick
His promise of transparency to get elected was a lie, an empty promise, a joke very, very sick
He has deceived, earned more Pinocchios than Pravda or Baghdad Bob
Hard questions from the press, not a chance, more like adjusting a T-ball or softball arcing lob
Obama not happy with his pen and with the title of king
Believes Emperor is more regal, has a better ring
And because the press never calls him out on his New Clothes
Scandal after scandal, wallowing in our economic woes
The sounds of silence are heard in media's bathroom stalls
Are there any save Fox and a select few willing to break through the fawning walls?
If the press would have spent 10 percent of the time used to Christie over Bridgegate crucify
The scandals and Holder's reign would have stopped at Fast and Furious in which  only one American died
If not, these real scandals only phony in Obama's view will only be more serious and multiply
Time for the press to drop the pom poms and cheerleader outfits and objective reporting try

Supreme Court Slams Obama 9-0 For The 13th Time-A Record Will He And Holder Ever Learn

Even the youngest toddler by trial and error a mistake quickly learns
Don’t put your finger on a stove again or you will be again burned
Learning is never accomplished watching sound bites of yourself in a teleprompter speech
Ego in those cases sadly always trumps the lessons that mistake will teach
It seems when it comes to the proper role of government this President is without clue
Even his own appointees to the Court will not give him respect his ego believes is due
In a deeply divided court in which 5-4 decisions seem to be the rule of the day
!3 times since 2013 in what must be a record, unanimity against him has come into play
With a record like that this President, this Harvard Law grad one would think
Maybe it’s time to step back and my political approach to problems rethink
One would hope but do not hold one’s breath as the sound bites reveal
He is on the stump blaming Red phony scandals of IRS or Benghazi—almost unreal
If our President would just in a sincere moment his ego place in a round file
Realize that pressing problems are solved with policy not politics of smile, speech and style
Come clean with the public; bring us the transparency he promised on Election Day
Instruct his lap dog AG to the will and lawful directions of Congress to obey
He might have a chance to prevent a Presidency sinking to the bottom of the approval floor
Most Reds want a President they can trust and respect; we deserve better, we deserve more.
Find someone who trusts the IRS after these revelations of it being used as a suppressive tool
Without doubt that person would be either an idiot or a complete fool
If John Dean to paraphrase were here on this IRS scandal he might observe
“As a result of the IRS we have a cancer growing on the people’s trust of the government we must preserve.”
