$8.5 billion grant to
troubled Intel behind in the AI revolution in chips to sell
By the feds to build up domestic chip production and reliance on foreign sites
dispel
But a funny thing on the way to disbursement raised its head
Intel obtained a contract to sell chips to the DOD at full
speed ahead
And in a rarity the $8.5 billion grant was again reviewed
With the DOD contract it lessened Intel’s need for a grant
from the feds to look to
Maybe with Musk and Vivek after January 20 breathing down on
fed bureaucrats’ necks
Part of the $8.5 billion grant was better to reject
Reduced by some $500 million proving that it may be possible
to spending reduce
Too long too often with lack of accountability with our tax
dollars bureaucrats have been spending fast and loose
Having domestic production of domestic high tech complicated
chips
Is a matter of national defense that we maintain our IP on
chips needed to the economy drive a very strong grip
We can never be in a position to have to on China for
critical items to rely
In a crisis like an invasion of Taiwan in a heartbeat those
critical items to us China would deny
