Tahmooressi Released Without Obama Help

Finally after 8 months of rotting in a Mexican jail

Despite public outrage and pleas to our CinC to no avail

Marine Tahmooressi after a secret trial is finally released

An innocent mistake but no corrupt Mexican hands greased

The news indicates that there was a diplomatic pressure to exert

Due to the need to physical and emotional injury to him avert

But unlike an earlier release of Bergdahl with his parents and Obama in the Rose Garden to appear

So Obama could bask in the limelight of adoration of the public he so needs and reveres

Doubt a Rose Garden repeat as Obama made no efforts to secure his release, not one attempt

Even when meeting face to face with El Jefe; yet another example of why so many hold him in contempt

The diplomatic pressure came not from Obama or Kerry

When it comes to our foreign policy no wonder our friends of us are wary

The pressure came from Richardson, Royce and Salmon, one Blue and two Reds

Bipartisanship at its very best; the only way we will ever get ahead

Once again our CinC was MIA; his pledge of no soldier left behind--his actions mock

Thank God for the efforts of this bipartisan trio to get our Marine unlocked
