If a barista
revealed a tattoo firing was the barista’s fate
In a land
where one in seven have at least one tattoo on their bod
Not a policy
one would want to applaud
One can come
into Starbucks tattooed and buy coffee and treats
But not from
a barista with tattoos for customers to greet
No more,
Starbucks has finally seen the light
Tattoos now allowed; do not have to be covered from sight
One would
hope that as to some tattoos, Starbucks draws the line
Gang symbols
or race baiting should not be part of allowed designs
The times
are changing; tattoos are now mostly acceptable marks
More and
more we on the freedom of expression path are seen to embark
If by chance
each spouse chose the other’s name to display
The pain in
removing the tattoo might many a divorce delay
