What Is Holy
A piece of
ground?
Foundations below
a place of worship?
Years of
struggle between two faiths?
Or is it the
miracle of human life?
One small cell struggles before death
To unite and
the miracle begins
Nine months
later a human being
Complete in
all its wonders
Complete in
all its hopes
Complete in its
soul
Life is holy!
What is sacrilege?
What is blasphemy?
What is
apostasy?
Thou shall
not kill!
On a holy site
sacred
Or on any piece
of dirt
Thou shall
not kill!
Slaying of four worshipers
praying to their God
By two
praying to the same God of different name
While their brethren
danced in the streets
As children so
taught received candy and cakes
Is that not
the most unholy act of all?
