Whatever efforts were made by our
State Department all civilized people should applaud
After all she was a Christian and
like her Muslim captors believed in one God
Maybe it was the news reporting of
Fox and maybe the absence of hashtags that saved the day
Or maybe even the fanatic clerics
in Sudan found a sense of humanity within that came into play
Over the broad spectrum how can
fanatic Islam with Christianity or the Jewish faith ever live side by side?
When to Islam the other two Tribes
must convert or join the infidel lot who need to have died?
I would never ridicule one's faith
or non belief
But a human's mind and soul should
not be treated like a feudal fief
Christianity had its Inquisitions,
pogroms, and witch trials but its tolerance slowly evolved
Yet Islam is held hostage to rigid
intolerance with death as the means to difference solved
While stuck in a rigid past with
half its members held by perverse shackles, societal and religious ball and
chains
The advance of science of the Arabs
stalled, poverty raging and for the common Muslim so little economic gain
The young bride and mother is now
free
With Christian husband and infants
from this feudal backwater flee
But before our State Department
starts patting its back and showing high fives
We have a Marine, abandoned by his
CinC, with PTSD rotting in a Mexican prison trying to survive
