It’s just an
acronym that hides the humanitarian cost
Hundreds of
UACs flooding across a border whose security has been lost
No surprise
the fault lies at DACA’s Obama’s feet
If you as a
minor can make it here all deportation efforts you will defeat
If there are
children their parents cannot be too far ahead or too far behind
Overwhelmed
by kids ICE is turning to crossings an eye blind
We are so
deep in debt we can barely educate and care for our citizen’s own
Social
services shrunk and cut to the bone
Instead of
opening our borders to the best and brightest who head to the end of the line
A steady stream
of the poorly educated, low skilled are flowing from poverty’s confines
You cannot
have immigration reform with a border like a porous sieve
Not when
coming from poverty this country is a better place to live
Take away
the jobs, the incentive to put life and limb at risk to cross disappears
No one
should be able to hire an illegal and if one does that person should be put in
fear
As long as
DACA is presumed to deportation prevent
The flow of UACs
will never relent
On TV we
need to have the scenes of children being boarded onto buses or planes
Being sent
back to the villages from where they came
Tough deal
but the border we must seal
Then a path
to citizenship for the 11 million here we have to deal
