Live Free or
Die since 1945 is the motto of the Granite State
Brandon
Garabrant a Marine last week killed in Afghanistan by a bomb lying in wait
Just 19 with
a whole life ahead of him to live
Paid the
ultimate sacrifice no parent would want their son to give
What makes
list story so tragic and put this poet into rage
Is that last
June at graduation at ConVal High School he could not wear his dress blues on
stage
Regulations
required the wearing of cap and gown
Why would a
Marine to be deployed in uniform cause such frowns
If Brian
Pickering the principal was in gown for his idiocy he should wear a dunce cap
crown
What sick PC
world distrust of the military justified handing such a regulation down
Marines and
the rest of the members of the Armed Forces put their lives in harm’s way
So a state
motto Live Free or Die has a chance to remain in play
A bit of
advice to Pickering and his school board to listen to these paraphrased words
To gain
entrance to heaven start praying today for forgiveness for your acts absurd
“If
Pickering and his school board look upon Heaven’s scenes
They will
find that the streets are guarded by United States Marines!”
