Once again
the world seems turned upside down and we sending soldiers to Iraq
Shia
firebrand warning we will be ready for US troops if they come back
A total
sense of chaos and disarray
Iraqi army
still fleeing from the fray
While Iran
cannot hold back its glee and joy
As it
watches the fruits of 4,500 lives lost rot and be destroyed
Millions of
dollars of US arms now in ISIS fanatical hands
Obama once
again blindsided by forces he cannot understand
This is a
full civil war in a nation that should be into three parts split
Hundreds of
years of Sunni versus Shiite with hatreds and scores to settle that will not
quit
The one
beacon in that God forsaken part of the world
An oasis of democracy
as the jihadist currents swirled
Our ally
Israel now subject to demands of Presbyterians to divest
Dollars in
companies doing business in Israel to treatment of Palestinians protest
Only 21
million but the decision seems a slap in Israel’s face
Why the
Palestinians sworn to Israel off the map erase
Are becoming
those worthy of the Church’s latest embrace?
