Ridley's Believe It Or Not For February 15, 2016 Susan B. Anthony Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For February 15, 2016. Unfortunately, still 340 days to go in President Obama’s pathetic lame duck term but fortunately only 19 days until the start of the Iditarod. The race for the presidency on Saturday went from the hypothetical to the reality with the death of Justice Scalia and the fact that the next president will have the ability to nominate his successor and probably two or more justices in the following four years (rumor has it that Loretta Lynch who is perfectly fine with Obama’s illegal actions on immigration and would most likely not press charges against Hillary for her illegal behavior may head his short list). I trust your Monday is off to a great start and even if you were not romantic enough to have ordered a customized poem from the Alaskanpoet, your Valentine’s Day was a great one.    As always, I hope  you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Linda Ronstadt, factoids of interest, a relevant quote by Susan B. Anthony, looking forward to enjoying some gum drops, blessed with a positive attitude and  secure in  the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like birthdays, weddings, or  anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem  at a great price  tailored to the event and the recipient. Reflections from Susan B. Anthony that Barack and Michelle ought to pay attention to as they send their daughters to private schools as opposed to public or better yet charter schools:“If all the rich and all of the church people should send their children to the public schools they would feel bound to concentrate their money on improving these schools until they met the highest ideals.” Susan B. Anthony Wise observation as thousands of children in the inner cities run mostly by Blues are condemned to a lifetime of poverty due to inadequate education fostered by inept teachers protected by tenure and the teachers’ unions.
