Joey Keek Drifts Off Near Death

We  mere mortals have a hard time trying to comprehend

Why a loving God looks the other way when a life too soon nears its end

Joey + Rory is a husband and wife country western duo that God with talent God has blessed

Two time winner of the Top Duo award, their fans were always impressed

Another nomination for another Top Duo award they will not both be present to receive

For Joey’s cancer came back with a vengeance that modern medicine could not relieve

She held her two year old daughter  for the last time a few days ago

Then one last kiss for Rory with final “I love you, but it’s time to drop the curtain on our show.”

No one wants to die with a two year old and loving husband to leave behind

When it comes to acceptance of death a sense of dignity of Joey Keek comes to mind

Her daughter will only know her from her music videos and her songs

While Rory will know near the Father listening to her sing is where she belongs

This is a woman of courage, a woman we all should admire

To accept the inevitable and to with grace from this earth retire
