Drink and Teach in Sanford And Go to Jail

We all know that a good education is needed to get ahead

Imagine the outrage when a substitute teacher shows up drunk instead

Holly Joel, aged 52

Must have been nipping an early morning brew

Pity the poor second graders who were exposed

Slurred speech, wobbly legs, disheveled hair and clothes

Holly showed up to teach at an elementary school in Sanford in the Sunshine State

Oblivious to the fact that after being observed, arrest and jail would be her fate

Normal people do not get drunk before going to work and a bottle of booze into the workplace bring in her purse

But normal people are fortunate enough to not be afflicted with a deadly addiction curse

If she is addicted which after looking at her mug shot is probably the case

Her teaching career has gone to seed, her schooling a total waste

One can only hope that the judge before whom she appears to be arraigned

Has rehab on his or her mind instead of a cell in which she is to be for some time contained.
