July 31, 2017 Ridley's Believe It Or Not World Ranger Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For July 31, 2017 The clock is ticking for North Korea and for China who could castrate the North Korean economy and bring its obese lunatic to its knees (if the North and South were united just like East and West Germany within a few years you would have not any more U.S. troops and a booming economy that would be a magnet for Chinese goods); cannot believe that Chinese leaders cannot turn the light bulb on to realize Kim Jong Un is a dead end street and should be eliminated); Venezuela once the richest country in South America and now bankrupt due to socialist policies in a “sham election” has granted Maduro dictatorial power and  is facing potential sanctions from the U.S. like banning all imports of oil from that country (something we can do due to fracking and the elimination of misguided energy restrictions from Obama); on the war on MS-13 front some progress but pressure must be brought to bear on the Blues who must have only contempt for our safety to inform them in no uncertain terms to get behind and support Kate’s Law and an end to all federal funding for Sanctuary Cities (how many innocents have to be killed, raped or assaulted before these Blue protected idiots come to their senses?); while the 535 gang of parasites and their bloated staff enjoy the good life of ACA subsidies, mere mortals living in 1332 counties have only one insurance company to chose from and in 40 counties none (only word to use to describe this mess is pathetic—solution is term limits and purge every incumbent from office?); through July 30 2182 people have been shot in Chicago 382 of whom have died (sadly the ATF agents Trump has sent has not put a damper on the carnage).
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Los Del Rio, factoids of interest for this day in history, a relevant quote by Adolph Hitler, hoping your issues and challenges are not invictive,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.
1. Ka Hae Hawaii Daycelebrating in Hawaii the adoption of its state flag, the only one in the 50 states that includes the flag of a foreign nation, the Union Jack.
2. World Ranger Day—commemorating since 2007 the sacrifice of park rangers who have died in the line of duty protecting visitors to parks and game reserves and the animals who resided there
3. 1996 Number One Song—the number one song in 1996 on a long run of 14 weeks in that position was “Macarena” by Los Del Rios. Here is a performance by the duo of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiOGjn1Ms4w
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day is “invictive” which means insurmountable which sadly seems to describe the difficulties we face in draining the Swamp.
5. A Real Successful Maverick—celebrating the birth on this day in 1958 of Mark Cuban since it is Shark Week, one of the stars of “Shark Tank”, and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, one very successful entrepreneur who also dances very well.
On this day in:
a. 1790 the first U.S. Patent is issued to inventor Samuel Hopkins for a potash process.
b. 1874 Dr. Francis Patrick Healy became the first African American to be named president of a predominantly white university, Georgetown.
c. 1941 in a sad day for humanity Hermann Goring  ordered SS General Reinhardt Heydrich to submit plans for the “Final Solution” of the Jewish problem.
d. 1948 at Idlewild Field New York International Airport (later renamed John F Kennedy) was dedicated.
e. 1991 in a step to make the planet a safer place the U.S. and Soviet Union signed START 1, a treaty to reduce their respective nuclear stockpiles.
Reflections on why we need to listen rogue nation threats from North Korea and Iran: “Today I will once more be a prophet: If the international Jewish financiers in and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations once more into a world war, then the result will not be the bolshevization of the earth, and thus the victory of Jewry, but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe!” Adolph Hitler in a speech January 31,1939 Sadly no one listened and took heed even as the obese lunatic from North Korea rants about annihilating us.
