Beauty in Plaid at Starbucks

Nothing like seeing a beauty in flannel on a warm summer day
Memories of being at a logging camp in Alaska where all dress that way
Or better yet in a tartan plaid even without the kilt
Watching the trees being felled for houses to be built
No logo just plaid that exudes softness and a sense of warm
Coupled with a smile that exudes nothing but charm
Two young children outside enjoying a treat
A joy being at Starbucks never knowing what your eyes will greet
Rhyming up a storm and enjoying the scenery
Finally drought over and brown replaced by greenery
Looks like a book is about to the children going to be read
With school out always in the game of life the best way to get ahead
