Justice Delayed or Bad Karma for 17 Year Old Hit and Run Carjacker with Slap on the Wrist Short Sentence

If you kill or assault a minor sexually or otherwise and are sent to prison to your time serve
Other cons there once your crime is known may feel a harsher sentence you deserve
Today we learned that such a system of justice may in the form of karma be located outside of prison cells
In August of 2021 a 17 year old carjacker hit and run a mother with a stroller in a moment of Hell
He was caught and plea bargained to a 5 to 7 month sentence in a Juvenile Camp
Causing the recall Gascon efforts to accelerate up the speed ramp
Recall effort failed with not enough signatures collected
The hit and run driver would be alive if a harsher sentence Gascon had elected
The driver served his slap on the wrist sentence time and was set free
Probably overjoyed to be in L.A. with a D.A. who harsh sentences never agrees
But karma may work in unforeseen ways
The driver was walking home in Palmdale and a drive-by shooter slowed to him slay
Facts not yet fully released and unknown if a connection to his hit and run crime
Or in this violent crime surge that continues to expand and sweep the nation—only in wrong place and wrong time
