The news
coming out of Atlantic City is that Trump rolled a seven before the profits
came in
Trump Plaza
to shut its doors in September, crapping out before a major profit win
Trump Plaza
is not the first casino to close as Atlantic City as a Mecca never met the test
Wonder if
the failure will Trump’s expanding ego slow down or arrest?
Was it the
Trump haircut that looked like he was always in a full breeze?
Or his
constant harping on Obama’s failure to deal forcefully with the Chinese?
The gods of
Lady Luck that loves Macau looked at Trump Plaza and said “You’re fired.”
In September
Trump Plaza most likely will join two other casinos just retired
A thousand
jobs to be lost but at least two months notice in advance
The need for
profits always trumps even in the games of chance.
Never understood
how Atlantic City thought with Macau or Las Vegas it could compete
Why would
the Chinese fly another four hours for a Pai Gow or Sic Bo gambling seat?
At least
Trump will not lose much of his wealth
He has
already divested down to ten percent only in stealth
But his name
prominently still remains
A stark
reminder that nothing is assured in the profit seeking game.
