Shooters Grill
is located in Rifle, Colorado and an honor to the city’s name
The
waitresses are all packing heat and the menu is much of the same
Shotgun
shells for shakers Smith and Wesson Grilled Cheese
A marketing
ploy or a sign of an underlying gun toting culture disease
A burger is
part of the American scene just like Apple Pie
But servers
packing visible heat as the food passes by?
Wonder if
the guns are loaded, safety on or empty and only for show
Before sampling
the cuisine would be something many a diner would want to know
One thing is
for certain with a server one must never flirt
Good way to
be staring at a Glock and to get hurt
Even though
the burgers may be delicious and half pound thick
Something
about guns and dining that seems a little sick
Maybe the
image is part of the gun toting American West
This diner
would rather give that image a rest
Whatever
happened to the TV Westerns where at the town’s gate
The cowboys
checked their guns before entering the saloons where pleasures would await?
Wonder what
kind of background checks a server must endure
So the
patrons’ safety will be insured?
Is the
slogan at the Grill, “Great burgers we fry.
Don’t leave
a tip and you will die”?
