Female Rangers Into Danger

Most of the couch potatoes will never understand the magnet for danger

And why two women would defy all odds to become American Rangers

Not a movie set for GI Jane but real life to break through the glass trench

Run the miles, deprive the sleep, push the body through the mud covered in the stench

Today the class ceiling for women was shattered

To once again prove it’s not the size of the body but the heart that matters

It may be about the mission but when push comes to shove

And no help from aircraft and drones above

Will you care about the sex of your foxhole mate

 Or rather will she protect your back and share your fate

In war against Radical Islam where women are second class and can only pack bombs to die

God bless our women who are not afraid to the forces of a real War on Women defy
