Outer
space for humans is not a friendly site
No
atmosphere to breathe and protect from solar radiation blight
In
a hundred years or more we may figure out a way to safely colonize Mars or the
Moon
Moving
like in Minneapolis in the winter in underground tunnels, living in underground
cocoons
Hoping
to find precious metals and gems to fuel an economic boom
An
ultimate haven from a nuclear winter on Earth in the future doom
One
has to wonder if a walk on the Moon protected only by a space suit
Rearranged
the cranial synapses and allowed some strange ideas to take root
Edgar Mitchell, the
sixth man to walk on the Moon today expressed some earth shattering news
He
claimed that peace loving aliens have visited us so our nuclear weapons we would
eschew
This
poet hopes that, however far fetched his claims may be, he is right
With
all the tension in the world, we need all the help we can find to avoid a
species extinction fight
If highly advanced peace loving space aliens really in life not just movies exist
And the human proclivity for war they would want to resist
Time again to the Moon revisit and the U.S., Russian, and Chinese flags plant
Might prompt another visit to our warlike tendencies supplant
