One
thing about Illinois that you can bet on is that the Chicago River on St.
Patrick’s Day will be painted green
The
other is that from governors to aldermen convicted politicians have headed to
prison in a steady stream
Unruh
once said that money is the politicians’ mothers’ milk
In
Illinois it is also fraud and deception to the voters to bilk
The
news today that Blagojevich the most recent of 4 out of the last 7 governors to
serve time
Prevailed
on an appeals court to toss out 5 of his 18 convicted crimes
This
icon of virtue tried to sell Obama’s soon to be vacant Senate seat for cash
Typical
Illinois politics for someone dishonest and very brash
If
one would wonder why our commander in chief finds it so easy to the voters lie
Just
look to his political past where fraud and deception is something most
politicians there cannot deny
In
Illinois fraud and deception is too often the political norm
No
wonder Obama’s dishonesty he did not try to tone down or reform
Blago
remains in prison while the feds determine whether to retry
For
the forces of good government he has one five year sentence for lying to the
FBI
Fraud
in government is to be expected from the millions on the government dole
But
not from the elected officials or bureaucrats where it guts our Republic’s
soul.
Having
so said
Let’s
hope Blago spends more years waking up in a prison bed
