The video of
a CHIP beating a 51 year old woman with closed fist was clearly an abuse of
force
The news
today is that in record speed the civil litigation has run its course
The victim
reached a settlement of a million five
CHP made
clear such violence by a CHIP cannot thrive
In addition
to the money the officer will resign
A career ruined
by a temper he could not keep in line
What started
out as a mission to save this woman from vehicular death
In a matter
of seconds turned into a beating that takes away your breath
Police have
not an easy job and when the arrest adrenalin starts to flow
So hard to
prevent the restraints on illegal use of force to be let go
The ball is
now in the D.A.’s court to see whether charges will be pressed
The answer
should be yes as this type of police force should be suppressed
