Wade Marrs and Roy Redington, Jr.
have joined the first five finishers into Nome. The next batch of mushers below
should be into Nome in a few hours:

Cindy remains in last place but out of Kailtag a little over an hour
behind the next to last musher in front of her.
The winner pockets $75,000 which is a lot of pain and agony for the
money, but pity the mushers that finish 31st to the last musher who
crosses the finish line who each receive $1,049 for their time and effort. Here
is a shot of Joe Redington, Jr, coming into Nome—note that unlike other shots
of the mushers this dog sled team does not appear to have the vests covering their
bodies but true to form are all wearing booties.
