HRC Self-Inflicted Campaign Wounds

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is in a world of self-inflicted hurt

The Teflon that protected her and the First Dude is flaking quickly into the scandal after scandal dirt

It is not that she is just perceived to be dishonest and untrustworthy but her unlikeability increases are stoked

How can we mere mortals relate to this woman who with a $10 million book advance could seek sympathy by claiming they were dead broke?

How can she be liked when in the campaign’s early stage

The press was cordoned off from her in a moving rope cage?

The IG’s report is a classic example her fatal flaw

That she and her husband have acted for so long as if above the law

As a young lawyer just out of Yale Law School

During Watergate she learned without hard evidence investigators look too often look like fools

Nixon created but failed to destroy his Watergate tapes

Hillary must have realized that had they been destroyed from impeachment he would escape

Nixon like Hillary must have thought no one would ever know

With executive privilege asserted to no one would he ever have to the tapes show

Hillary with her private server to conceal her quid quo pro quo at State abuse

Must have thought its existence would remain a secret and she could use only the personal emails were deleted excuse

Gruber’s observations notwithstanding, most Americans may be trusting but are not a stupid lot

With all the millions flowing to Bill for speeches and contributions to the Foundation, the logical fire in the smoke filled favor rooms was that she had been bought

Bill may be a great speaker but no one in his right mind could possibly believe

That he was being paid for priceless pearls of wisdom but rather for the favors the payors and donors sought to achieve

Dishonest, lack of judgment and a person to whom a growing number of Americans cannot relate

Even with her barking or yelling at the top of her lungs, her campaign is in a mode that excites not, only heavily just  sedates.
