Uber Attacker Sues Driver--What A Crock

In an almost like a case of when a dog bites the mail carrier

And the owner of the biting mutt or terrier

Sues the mail man for emotional distress

No wonder our disgust of lawyers and the tort system is hard to suppress

Ben Goldman in a drunken stupor attacks his Uber driver with a flurry of blows

Having no idea that on a dashboard camera his assault would show

The video goes viral and Goldman receives his pink slip

Amazing what chaos possible when a man is in alcohol’s grip

But the news gets better yet this assaulter for emotional distress

Sues the driver for five million in seeking redress

Invasion of privacy in an Uber cab seems a stretch

But never underestimate a lawyer’s desire to a major contingent fee fetch

If a raging drinker is on a candid video cam for the world to see

Why is this an invasion of privacy—seems like a total travesty to most of us including me
